Kenton Rotary recently heard from Kenton Historic Courthouse District Coordinator and Alliance Program Assistant Jennifer Ramge.
Ramge shared the many facets of redeveloping the downtown district into a hub of the community.
She said the Kenton Historic Courthouse District, a non-profit organization helps local business owners with renovations, grants, and community-driven programming.
She also said the biggest parts of the revitalization process are the people and that citizens need to be encouraging, positive and open to development.
Ramge believes that with the sale of 9 downtown buildings this year and 3 pending, downtown Kenton is on its way to reinventing itself again into an “Entertainment District.”
