Logan County Sheriff’s Office Hiring Cook

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is looking to hire a Cook.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week or a part-time position.

Starting pay is $18.90 to $21.49 based on experience.

Minimum Acceptable Characteristics:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass all LCSO general employment requirements.
Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts, Holidays and weekends, with regular and on time attendance.
Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation & storage.
Skill in operation of kitchen equipment.
Able to prepare all types of meals.
Must be comfortable working with inmates.
Able to follow instructions.
Able to read and follow recipes and cooking instructions.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to withstand varying temperatures (freezers, hot ovens, etc).
Must have general knowledge of the operations of the Sheriff’s Office.
