As students prepare to head back to school, the City of Lima is launching Slow Down Lima.

The campaign combines education, neighborhood engagement, public service announcements, yard signs, and targeted messaging to encourage drivers to slow down and be more aware of the people around them.

City officials are asking Lima residents to display a Slow Down Lima sign, in the hopes of catching a driver’s attention.

Residents can request a free sign on the limaohio.gov website.
