Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports

Parker Waller and Jovi Motter
The winners of the Hardin County Fair Prince and Princess contest for 2026 were announced this morning.
On the Morning Buzz with Chad and Jenny, Jolene Buchenroth, Co-Chair of the Royalty Committee, explained how the winners are chosen, “Kids compete by selling raffle tickets, and those tickets are $5 each. The boy that sells the most tickets becomes the Prince, and the girl that sells the most tickets becomes the Princess.”
This year, Buchenroth said the candidates sold 3549 tickets at $5 each for an impressive $17,745, which was second only to the first year, and she went on to make the big announcement, which were the winners, “The boy who sold the most tickets, 768 tickets, is our Prince Parker Waller, and the girl who sold the most tickets, she sold 590 tickets, is our Princess Jovi Motter.”
Those raffle tickets remain on sale, and the winner will be drawn on the first night of the fair, and will be worth $5000.
All of the money raised goes back into the fair’s Royalty program, including to scholarships, and to date $28,750 has been awarded.
