Wyandot County Fair Officials Warn of Payment Scam

Wyandot County Fair officials alerted residents about a scam.

A vendor reported that they received an email appearing to use the Wyandot County Fair name and email address requesting payment via wire transfer.

Fair officials stated that they will never ask you to send payment via wire transfer, and you should not send payment or respond to any request like that.

If you receive an email requesting payment and are unsure whether it is legitimate, contact the Fair Office directly to verify.
