Anti-rejection infusions can now be done at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.

That service greatly benefits Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart who had a liver transplant three years ago and a kidney transplant two years ago, “Some of my anti-rejection medicine is done via infusion, and I’ve been traveling back to Indianapolis (Indiana) once a month for that, and between Jake (Abbott) and everyone at OhioHealth, they got that drug at Hardin Memorial, and now I don’t have to drive to Indianapolis to get my infusion, I just head right out here to our local hospital which obviously saves me an entire day out of my schedule.”

For the complete discussion with Sheriff Everhart, along with Jake Abbott, Advisor of Pharmacy Services at HMH and Media and Public Relations Senior Consultant Olivia Weiss, tune in Public Eye Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7:30 on WKTN.
