Wildcat golf Secures Senior Night Win
The Kenton boys golf team marked Senior Night with a win, topping Van Wert 170-180 in a home Western Buckeye League match. Seniors Tate Ketcham and Quin Kozman were honored before playing in their final home WBL competition.
Kenton was led by Oliver Sneary and Anden Goldsmith, who each carded a 41. Kozman followed with a 44, while Brayden Lowe shot 49 and Austin Root finished with a 50. Ketcham rounded out the Wildcats’ scoring with a 53.
The Wildcats improved to 4-4 in WBL play and 7-4 overall. Kenton will close out the regular-season WBL schedule Tuesday when they travel to Shawnee. The team will then compete in the WBL Tournament on Thursday.
