Kenton Volleyball Sweeps USV

Powered by an all-around team performance, the Kenton Wildcats volleyball team swept the Upper Scioto Valley Rams in straight sets (25-17, 25-14, 25-17).

Geneva Norris paced the Wildcats’ scoring with 10 points, three aces, three kills, and five digs. Layla Scott anchored the defense with nine digs and nine receptions while matching Kaylee Barlow with nine points; Barlow also delivered three aces, six kills, and two blocks. Rileigh Barnt disrupted the net with three blocks to go along with seven points and two digs. While Alexis Ratliff chipped in six points, two aces, seven kills, and a block. Adella Dudek orchestrated the offense with 21 assists, adding three points, a kill, a block, and four digs. Lindsey Winings rounded out the performance with three points, six kills, five receptions, and four digs.

Completing the program’s sweep, the Kenton JV squad earned a commanding 25-15, 25-11 victory of their own.

The varsity team now turns its attention to Thursday’s matchup against Bath.
