Youtheatre Brings Disney’s The Little Mermaid to Marathon Center for the Performing Arts This Fall

Findlay, OH– Youtheatre is delighted to present its fall production of Disney’s beloved musical The Little Mermaid, coming to MCPA on October 2 and 3. Filled with adventure, unforgettable music, and colorful characters, this family-friendly classic promises to transport audiences under the sea for an enchanting theatrical experience.

Performance times are:

• Friday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m.

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Part of Your World.”

More than 90 students in grades 6-12 are involved in the production, both on stage and behind the scenes. These talented young performers and crew members represent 12 area schools and homeschool groups, showcasing the depth and diversity of local youth talent.

Directed by Samantha Henry, the production team also features Zach Thomas as Music Director and Jordan Gottschalk as Choreographer.

Tickets are on sale now! $20 for adults and $15 for students and senior citizens. All seating is reserved. $1 from every ticket sold supports the Youtheatre College Scholarship Fund,
