Kenton High School Announces 2026 Homecoming Court

Homecoming festivities are continuing this week at Kenton City Schools, with Kenton High School announcing its 2026 Homecoming Court.

The court includes  (Standing L to R) Junior Attendant Marlee Gammon, Freshman Attendant Briar Davis, and Sophomore Attendant Lauryn Newman.

Senior Attendants are  (Seated L to R) Faith Phipps, Emilie Stephens, and Kylie Adams.

The Homecoming Queen will be crowned before Friday night’s homecoming football game against Celina on September 25.

Students will celebrate throughout the week with special themed dress days and a Powder Puff football game tomorrow, September 23. Hot dogs will be provided by the Kenton Athletic Boosters.

Following the Powder Puff game, the annual Homecoming bonfire will be held at 8:00 p.m. directly behind Robinson Field.

A joint pep rally for Kenton High School and Kenton Middle School students is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, in the KMHS gymnasium.

The Homecoming celebration continues Friday, September 25, with the annual Homecoming Parade beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The parade will depart from the Kenton First Methodist Church parking lot, traveling south on North Wayne Street before turning east onto Columbus Street toward Robinson Field.

The parade will feature the JROTC Color Guard, Wildcat Battalion, Kenton High School Band, cheerleaders, the 2026 Homecoming Attendants, middle and high school fall athletic teams, and the local FFA chapter.

Pre-game ceremonies will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Robinson Field, including the presentation of the Homecoming Queen and her attendants.

Homecoming festivities will wrap up Saturday, September 26, with the Homecoming Dance from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the Kenton Middle/High School gymnasium.
