Two-vehicle crash on US 33 in Union County results in suspected minor injuries

A Bellefontaine woman was transported to the hospital with suspected minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash that occurred on US 33 in Union County late Tuesday afternoon.

According to the report from the Marysville Police Department, 71-year-old Melody Born was driving on 33 when another vehicle attempted to exit onto State Route 4 and struck her vehicle.

The car that was exiting 33 was being operated by 49-year-old Tara Brown, of Marysville.

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

Born was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital.

Two passengers in her car, as well as Brown and a passenger in her vehicle, were not injured.

Brown was cited for failure to yield.
