Richwood Man Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash
A Richwood man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred this past Saturday in Richwood.
According to the report from the Richwood Police Department, 56-year-old Rodney Saunders was driving south on Beatty Avenue, and when he failed to stop for a stop sign at East Blagrove Street, his pickup truck was struck by a westbound vehicle being operated by 36-year-old David Markham, of Marion.
Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.
Saunders was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
Markham and four passengers in his vehicle were not injured.
Saunders was cited for a stop sign violation.
