The University of Northwestern Ohio will host its 2026 Fall Career Fair on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the UNOH Event Center. Open to all current UNOH students and alumni, the annual event will bring together 102 local, regional, and national employers representing a wide range of industries and career opportunities. The Career Fair will be open from 10:00 a.m. to noon and again from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a lunch break from noon to 1:00 p.m. More than 1,200 students and alumni are expected to attend and connect with employers seeking candidates for full-time positions, internships, co-ops, and other career opportunities.

During the event, four food trucks will also be on-site to provide food and refreshments for students, alumni, employers, and other attendees who want to purchase lunch or refreshments. Meats-A-Movin LLC, Taco Fiesta Hinojosa, Plush Cookie, and Susie Lynne’s Lemonade will be available throughout the event.

Employer registration for the 2026 Fall Career Fair reached full capacity weeks ahead of the event, making this one of the largest career fairs hosted by UNOH. The Career Fair itself is designed to give students more than an opportunity to submit a resume. It allows them to speak directly with recruiters and industry professionals, learn about career paths in their fields, practice professional communication and networking, and better understand what employers seek in future employees. For employers, the Career Fair provides direct access to UNOH students and alumni who have developed career-focused skills through hands-on technical training, classroom instruction, internships, co-ops, and real-world experiences.

“The Fall Career Fair is an opportunity for our students to take everything they have been learning in the classroom and begin making connections that can shape their careers,” said Kyler Washam, Director of Career Services at UNOH. “Having 102 employers choose to spend the day on our campus speaks to the opportunities available to our students and graduates. Whether a student is looking for an internship, preparing for graduation, or simply beginning to explore what opportunities are available in their field, our goal is for them to leave the Career Fair more confident, more connected, and better prepared for their future careers.”

The breadth of this year’s Career Fair is reflected in the variety of organizations scheduled to attend. Additional employers include Tesla, Roush Industries, Transportation Research Center, Crown Equipment Corporation, GROB Systems, Alliance Automation, Midmark Corporation, Penske Truck Leasing, Rush Enterprises, Whiteford Kenworth, Crete Carrier Corporation, Schneider, West Ohio Food Bank, DANA Inc., Cincinnati Metro, NOW Marketing Group, Health Partners of Western Ohio, OhioMeansJobs Allen County, and the Ohio Department of Transportation, among many others.

UNOH Career Services provides lifetime career assistance to University graduates. In addition to career fairs, the department works year-round to connect students and alumni with employers through job postings, internships and co-ops, employer campus visits, classroom presentations, resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation, career-readiness programming, and individualized career guidance.

The Fall Career Fair is part of the University’s continued commitment to connecting education with employment and preparing students to transition successfully from the classroom into their chosen careers.
