A ceremony was held Tuesday for a resident of Blanchard Place in Kenton who turned 102 years of age.
Wilma Mullennax, along with family and friends, enjoyed a mini-parade featuring cruisers from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and Kenton Police Department and several classic cars.
Proclamations were also read and presented by Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb and Hardin County Commissioner Tim Striker.

Miss Wilma was even able to take a ride in Kenton police cruiser driven by Chief Dennis Musser.

Kenton Top 20 also attended to sing Happy Birthday to her.
Not sure if it is the secret to her longevity, but Miss Wilma said she is fond of Mountain Dew and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and in case you are wondering, she is on Facebook.
