The Hardin County Armory Foundation honored two local couples, whose dedication and support played a meaningful role in saving Ohio’s oldest armory.

With the help of Quest Federal Credit Union, The Moldmakers, Indian Lake High School, and Kenton Marble and Granite, the Foundation is dedicating a functional 1841 six-pound Napoleon cannon in recognition of Frank and Betty Bondi and John and Ruby Jester’s contributions.

Both couples will have their names affixed to the cannon’s carriage as a lasting tribute to their love for God, Hardin County, and the community.

The Armory stands today because of the people who gave their time, encouragement, and support to preserve this historic landmark for future generations.
