FINDLAY, Ohio — The countdown is nearly over! The 2026 Cops & Kids Findlay Halloween Parade presented by loanDepot takes over S. Main St. on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 p.m., bringing together the community for an unforgettable celebration of “250 Years of American Champions.”
Hosted by the Fort Findlay FOP Lodge #20 Foundation, this beloved community tradition will feature spectacular floats, marching bands, creative costumes, community champions and plenty of Halloween excitement.
The fun begins before the parade! Starting at 6 p.m., families are invited to the YMCA Great Pumpkin Playoff in the Great Lakes Toyota Subaru Entertainment Zone for some pre-parade fun. Opening festivities will also feature a performance by Findlay First Edition and the National Anthem.
Can’t make it downtown? UFTV will broadcast the parade live beginning at 6:30 p.m., with coverage available on the UFTV YouTube channel and the Fort Findlay FOP Lodge #20 Foundation Facebook page.
Spectators can also enjoy delicious offerings from food trucks at the Romick Wealth Concepts Food Truck Park at St. Mark’s Church, along with the McGuire & Sons Trucking Candy Drop Zone and the sensory-friendly Millstream Area Credit Union Quiet Zone. Following the parade, the community can vote for its favorite entry in the McGuire & Sons Trucking People’s Choice Award.
Traffic and spectator information: Traffic in and around the parade route will be impacted throughout much of Tuesday. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early, plan accordingly and visit copsandkidsfindlay.org for detailed street closure information, parade maps, parking guidance and important updates.
There’s still time to volunteer! Community members interested in helping make parade night possible can register through the Foundation’s website.
“This parade is about so much more than Halloween,” said Teresa White, executive director of the Fort Findlay FOP Lodge #20 Foundation. “It’s about celebrating the champions who make our community extraordinary, bringing families together and creating positive connections between children and law enforcement. We can’t wait to see S. Main St. come alive Tuesday night!”
All parade proceeds benefit the Cops & Kids Champion Fund, supporting the Foundation’s mission of building positive relationships between youth and law enforcement while supporting active, retired and fallen officers and their families throughout Hancock County.
