Kenton Youth Volleyball Raises $500 for Not by Choice

Kenton Youth Volleyball, a volunteer-led group offering fundamental volleyball training for kids in grades 4-6, hosted a “pink out” game this season. Players were encouraged to add some pink to their regular uniforms in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. KYVB pledged all admission fees and special donations to support Not by Choice, a local outreach that provides various forms of assistance to those battling cancer. Kenton Youth Volleyball managed to raise a total of $500 for the organization.

Not by Choice is strictly funded by grants, donations, memorials, and fundraisers and receives no state or federal funding. To learn more, you can visit their website.
