The cases against two men who were arrested last week in connection to the death of a Kenton man were bound over to a grand jury.
Antonio Lennelle Smith, of Columbus, and James Eugene Roton Jr., of Marion, are facing murder charges in connection to the death of Seth Rigdon.
Rigdon’s family reported his disappearance on October 23 when he hadn’t been seen for several days prior to that date.
Court documents indicate that Smith and Roton told investigators that they drove to Kenton on October 19 to meet with Rigdon.
They picked him up and the three of them drove to a cornfield, which was later determined to be on County Road 230 near County Road 217.
Rigdon was fatally shot when he got out of the vehicle with one of the suspects, and his body was found in that area on October 29.
Roton and Smith are being held on bonds of one million dollars.
