No criminal charges will be filed against the varsity wrestling coach at West Liberty-Salem High School.
WPKO Radio reported that Dave Clem had been accused of being too rough during a wrestling drill with a 16 year old student.
The two were said to have exchanged words after the drill.
Following an investigation that was launched in February, the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office and Bellefontaine City Prosecutor opted against pursuing assault charges against the coach.
Clem has been on leave since February 13, and the school district is still conducting an administrative investigation.
