Woman Suffers Significant Injuries in Union County Domestic Argument

The Union County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a possible domestic argument at a residence in the 23000 block of Woodstock Road in Union Township Tuesday morning.

 

According to a release, Deputies responded to the scene and found the residence ransacked with blood stains throughout the first floor.

 

A person of interest and a possible female victim were found in a vehicle near the intersection of Morse Road and Chesford Road in Columbus.

 

The person of interest was taken into custody by Franklin County Deputies and transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

 

The victim was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital for treatment of significant injuries.

 

This incident is an active investigation and detectives are preparing multiple search warrants.
