Gas Leak Forces Evacuations in Marysville
A section of road in Marysville was closed for several hours due to a gas leak on Thursday.
According to information from the Marysville Police Department, a contractor struck the gas line while working on Grove Street between 9th and Collins Avenue.
A couple of homes were evacuated, and people were asked to avoid the area.
A crew from Columbia Gas worked to repair the line, but the road was closed for the duration.
