A school in Logan County was put on lockdown for around 45 minutes Thursday afternoon while authorities investigated a possible threat in the building.

WPKO radio reported that the Logan County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Riverside School, where deputies checked rooms and book bags, but nothing was found.

The students were then released in small groups and escorted to the buses.

The incident remains under investigation.
