Marion County Board of DD Levy Suffers Narrow Defeat
The Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities levy failed by a razor thin margin Tuesday.
There were 2736 votes against the 1.7 mill levy. 2708 voted yes.
Three other money issues were passed in the Primary Election.
The Marion Township Road District additional 1.5 mill levy passed 574-517.
The Pleasant Local School District 1% income tax levy passed 1088 in favor, 815 against.
The River Valley Local School District 1% income tax levy passed 1083-936.
