Get Hooked on Fishing Event Held at France Lake
The first Get Hooked On Fishing event was held over the weekend at France Lake.
The mission of the program was to introduce the younger generation to positive activities while enjoying the outdoors.
35 kids participated, and all of them left with a new fishing pole and other items that have been either donated or purchased through a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Detective Mike Conley from the Hardin Co Sheriff’s Office, Game Warden Ryan Kennedy and Probation Officer Aaron Mcpherson put the program together.
