Carey Man Arrested on Attempted Murder Charge

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office was summoned to 1869 TR 136, Portage Township at 2:37 PM this past Sunday afternoon for a report of a man with a knife attempting to break into the residence.

According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, as a result of the investigation, 37 year old Chad Howard, of Carey, Ohio, was arrested and has been formally charged through Findlay Municipal Court with a single count of Attempt to Murder.

The investigation is on-going and additional charges are expected to be filed.
