Fire Causes Minor Damage at Rush Trailer Park Sunday
A small fire occurred at a mobile home at Rush Trailer Park on West Lima Street Sunday evening.
According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at just before 7:30 to unit 71 at the trailer park.
Upon arrival, light smoke was visible coming from under the trailer.
It was discovered that a heat tape on water lines had shorted out and burnt through the water line and insulation.
The electrical tape was disconnected and water was shut off until repairs are made.
No significant damage occurred, and firefighters were on the scene for a short time.
