Be prepared for very hot days this Friday and Saturday.

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive heat Watch from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening.

Actual temperatures will climb to the mid-90’s, but with humidity levels increasing, the heat index values will be near or above 105 degrees.

Heat stroke, heat exhaustion and other heat related illnesses will be possible, especially if you spend a significant amount of time outdoors, or are involved in any

strenuous outdoor activity.

Plan to spend more time in air conditioned or well-ventilated places. If possible, reschedule strenuous outdoor activities to early morning or evening. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of water.
