The Ohio State Patrol announced this past Saturday the line of duty death of Sergeant Jared M. Ulinski of the Findlay District.
He was found dead at the Findlay Post while on duty.
Sergeant Ulinski joined the Patrol in June 1999 as a member of the 134th Academy class.
In honor of his life and service, Governor Mike DeWine ordered that the flags of the United States and Ohio to be flown at half-staff at all public grounds throughout Hancock County, the Ohio Statehouse, the Vern Riffe Center and the Rhoades State Office Tower until sunset of the day of his funeral.
All other public buildings and grounds throughout the state may fly the flags at half-staff.
