Car Recovered at France Lake Tuesday Evening Likely was Stolen 12 Years Ago
A vehicle was recovered from the bottom of France Lake Tuesday evening.
According to information from the Kenton Police Department, a fisherman reported locating the vehicle using a sonar device.
The dive team was dispatched and located the vehicle, and eventually removed it from the water.
A plate number was retrieved, and investigators believe the vehicle was reported stolen back in 2009.
There were no bodies inside the vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.
