9/11 Memorial Service to be Held During Harvest & Herb Festival Next Month

A memorial service for the 20th Anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attack will be conducted as part of the Harvest and Herb Festival on Saturday September 18.

Ada Liberty Fire Department Chaplain Philip Compton announced that there will be several speakers, including Lakeview Fire Department Chaplain Cynthia Defabaugh.

A flag will be draped at the corner of Main and Buckeye Streets in the village.

It will start around 11:00am on September 18 after the Harvest and Herb Festival parade.

The ceremony will be conducted in the former Cole Motor Sales Used Car parking lot.
