Allen County Seeing Increased Number of Thefts

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office has been receiving an increase in the number of calls and reports of thefts in Bath Township. 

The thefts range from items stolen from vehicles to  bicycles and lawn decorations.

Recently, Allen County deputies responded to 401 South Roberts Avenue in reference to a burglary complaint. 

Upon their arrival, they observed forced entry into the residence. 

The victim had cameras which recorded the crime in progress. 

Jewelry and several electronic devices were stolen by three subjects who appear to be juveniles. 

After the break-in, three bicycles were located behind the residence that were possibly used in the burglary.
