The Upper Scioto Valley School District issued information regarding COVID-19 absence guidelines.

According to a release, a parent or guardian who calls and states that a student is being tested for COVID must provide test results positive or negative in order for the absence to be excused.

If someone in the household has tested positive, the student residing in the home must quarantine for the health of both USV students and staff.

Positive results for anyone in the household where the student resides must be provided for excused absences.
