Four Hardin Northern FFA members competed in the Sub C-District 4 Job Interview Contest earlier this month.

The Job Interview contest is a Career Development Event, offered to all FFA members, where they compete against one another in a mock interview contest.

This year the Hardin Northern FFA took sophomores Skylar Bishop and Kylee Clem, junior Alyssa Heldman, and senior Brenna Flowers to the contest in Spencerville.

Bishop placed third and Clem placed 4th in the sophomore division, Flowers placed third in the senior division, and Heldman placed second in the junior division, allowing her to move on and compete at the district contest, which was held late last week.

At Districts Heldman placed second.

Overall, the Job Interview Contest is an opportunity for FFA members to gain knowledge on how to prepare for a job interview, how to do well at a job interview, and what their next steps are after the interview is over to have the best chance of getting the job they are applying for.
