Michigan Man Injured in Union County Crash

A Detroit, Michigan man was injured in a crash Sunday night in Union County.

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office report, 39 year old Eric Hanton lost control of his vehicle after swerving to miss hitting a deer while driving south on State Route 38.

The vehicle went off the right side of the road where it struck a utility pole and guard rail.

Hanton was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

He was cited for failure to control.
