Kenton traveled to Bath on Thursday in WBL showdown and battled to a 1-1 draw. Kenton is now 5-0-1 (1-0-1 WBL). Connor Deifubaugh struck first with a goal 15 minutes into the contest off an assist from Ethan Yoder. Scored stayed that way until halftime. Kenton outshot Bath 9-1 in the first half but only had one goal to show for it. Bath came out in the 2nd half and worked harder then the Kenton cats and were rewarded with a goal with 14 minutes left for the final score line. Kenton outshot bath 10-3 and Outcornered them 7-2 in the contest. Coulson recorded 2 saves in goal for the cats. Bath definitely held the play in the 2nd half even though they only had 2 shots on goal.
The JV Cats battled to a 0-0 draw and are now 3-1-1 on the year. Ayson Scott recorded the shutout in goal for kenton.
cats back in action Tuesday when they host Celina. Jv starts at 5.
