
During the proceedings Community Improvement Director Jacqualine Fitzgerald announced the city pool’s revenue is once again up compared to previous seasons. The increase in revenue is due to increased membership and a minimal increase in concession prices. Fitzgerald also shared that the Kenton Lions Club is working on new playground equipment for pioneer park.
Ordinance 23-023 was introduced at tonight’s meeting. if this ordinance is to pass it will bring changes to building permits in Kenton’s downtown historic district. According to Law Director Schwemer these changes are an update for out of date provisions and will not impact many applicants.
