Kenton City Council met Monday evening. During the proceedings, Safety Service Director Cindy Murray shared that the city received a violation from the EPA. Murray stressed that there is no issue with the city’s water and stated the violation is due to a delayed response to the agency.
Two new resolutions were introduced during the meeting. Both are in connection with Phase 2A of the ongoing downtown infrastructure improvements. Resolution 23-027 will see the city enter an agreement with CSX while Resolution 23-028 will see the city enter into an agreement with OHM Advisors to perform construction administration, engineering, and inspection services in connection to the project.
