Glen and Carol shared Tammy Lynn (Doug) Snyder, Sonia Ann (Ron) Chelette, and Mercial Shane (Julie) Chelette. He then married his second wife, Shirley Marie (Wisinger) Chelette twice. During their marriage Shirley made him a widow. Shirley had 3 children that Glen raised as his own. Tami Renae (Raymond) Sweaza, Raymond (Bubba) Lee Jones, and Clair (Sissy) Ann Jones. Glen had a big personality and heart. He knew no stranger. Glen ministered and sang throughout Southern Arkansas and Louisiana. He truly loved the lord.

Glen owned and operated several businesses. His favorite times were running the Derrick (Smackover, Arkansas) and Double J (Kenton, Ohio). He operated these businesses with his children.

He established in 1980 the Chelette Deer Club in Smackover Arkansas and it is still thriving today. Glen was a hunter, trapper and fisherman in his younger years. He taught his children to hunt, fish, and run a trotline. He cherished those times.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Bob and Barb Wingfield for loving and honoring Glen’s memory.
