Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities to Host Free Community Developmental Screening for Children in Allen County and Surrounding Areas

The Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities Early Intervention is hosting a Community Developmental Screening on October 22nd.

This event is open to all area children, regardless of county residency.  If a child outside of Allen County is referred to services, they will refer them somewhere in their home county.

This screening is free and open to children ages 0-5.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s development, they are encouraging you to come and have your child screened.

There will be a multitude of screenings available, including:

-Hearing

-Vision

-Speech

-Dental

-Behavior

-Autism

-Growth

-Gross Motor

-Fine Motor

The event will take place on October 22nd, at the Rhodes State College Borra Center, located at 8 Town Square in Lima.

Parents and guardians must accompany their child.
