Kenton girls varsity soccer beats Crestview 3 – 0

The Kenton Wildcat Girls Soccer team finished off their regular season with a 3-0 win over Crestview bringing their record to 6-10-1 on the year.

Kenton Senior Emma Hougendobler put the Wildcats up 1-0 for the only goal of the first half off of an assist from Freshman Ellie Minter with just under 10 minutes into the game.

Kenton Freshamn Jadynn Byers found the back of the net for her first of two goals at the 19:33 mark when she intercepted a Crestview pass inside of the 18 yard box. With just over 7 minutes remaining in the match, Kenton Senior Kinze Sprang passed a ball across the front of the net to Byers who scored her second goal of the night.

Kenton will travel to Bryan on Wednesday, October 16th for their Sectional Final game
