OhioHealth‘s media relations team was at Hardin Northern this week to film a special commercial for the Ohio Health News Network.

The school’s Polar Pantry was featured as a leader in Hardin County within schools, and it showcases the projects that Ohio Health supports through their non-profit initiatives.

With the help of United Way of Hardin County, West Ohio Food Bank, Quest Federal Credit Union, OhioHealth, and other local partners and private donors, Hardin Northern is working to make sure no student goes hungry.

Superintendent Andrew Cano and Bethany Kauffman were interviewed.

They addressed how the initiative has positively impacted students in the school through the after-school snack program.

Through community partnerships and generous donors, all can fight to end food insecurities.

The video will be featured in the coming days.
