Kenton Man Arrested for Alleged Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor in Crawford County

A Kenton man was arrested over this past weekend by the Crawford and Marion County Sheriff’s Offices

22-year-old Jonah A. Sharp had an active warrant for his arrest, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, which was issued by the Crawford County Municipal Court.

According to a release, Crawford County Detectives have been investigating the complaint, which alleged that Sharp had been in Crawford County in August of this year, and it was alleged that he met with a 15-year-old female that he met online and was having sexual intercourse with her.

Sharp allegedly admitted to the allegations after being taken into custody.

After the arrest, Sharp was also found to be in possession of child pornography on his cell phone.

The Crawford County and Hardin County Sheriff’s Offices will be working the investigation together, and reports will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office in the proper jurisdiction.
