
The Kenton Wildcats win a tough game tonight over Elida 50-48. The Cats were led in scoring by Sidney Payne with 16 points. Sadie Larrabee scored 10 points while Macee Heckathorn had 9 and Brylee Bostelman had 8 points. Liv Nolting scored 6 points and Kyla Bostater rounded out the scoring with 1 point. Elida was led by Oliveah Sanders with 22 points and Emma Mitchell scored 8 points. The Cats move to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the WBL. The Lady Cats return to action on Saturday at home vs Bluffton. JV game begins at 11am.
The JV contest was won by Elida 47-21. Elida was led by Claire Dingledine with 11 points and Isabella Holstein with 9 points. Kenton was led by Kaylee Barlow and Lyla Gammon with 7 points each. Kaiden Gammon had 4 points while Taryn Miller had 2 points and Allyson Rhinehart rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
