Kenton Wrestling Places 30th at Marion Harding Classic

The Kenton wrestling team travelled to Marion, Ohio to compete in the Marion Harding Classic tournament. Over thirty teams from all over Ohio participate in the long standing tough tournament. Kenton only brought six wrestlers and scored 25 team points to place thirtieth. Wrestling powerhouse, St. Edward, dominated the field and won the team race with a final score of 212.5 points. WBL team, St. Marys, was able to secure third (149 points) with seven wrestlers placing. Tate Hisey (138 lbs), took home the championship and Bo Hertenstein finished runner-up at 157 lbs.Best finishes for Kenton were Matthew Handell at 215 lbs and Brison Laubis at 285 lbs. Handell went 4-2 on the day and placed seventh.
