Accidental Shooting Reported to KPD Tuesday

The Kenton Police Department received a report about an accidental shooting on Tuesday.

Chief Dennis Musser said that officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of East Franklin Street to investigate.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who was flown to a Columbus hospital for treatment.

Chief Musser said they are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting and no other information is being released at this time.
