Amish Barn Destroyed by Fire Wednesday Night

A barn was destroyed by fire Wednesday night.

According to Mt. Victory Fire Chief Travis Bahan, firefighters were dispatched at just after 8 to the Amish owned residence on Township Road 199 at County Road 144.

The barn was listed as a total loss.

Mutual assistance was provided by fire departments from Kenton and Marseilles.

BKP Ambulance was also on scene.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.

Firefighters were on the scene for around an hour.
