Riverdale Gets First Win, Beats Polar Bears 45-33

The Riverdale girls basketball team notched its first win of the season, defeating Hardin Northern 45-33 Monday at Riverdale. The Falcons (1-1) placed three players in double figures, led by Hanna Breidenbach's 12 points. Danielle Searfoss and Carrigan Vent added 11 points apiece. The Polar Bears (0-2) were led by Maddie Grappy, who scored a game-high 19 points.

Clarence Wayne Hensel, age 88, passed away on Friday, November 22. He was born December 6, 1930 to the late Fred and Emma Hensel. On March 30, 1952 Clarence married Melba Jean Roszman. Together they founded Hensel Ready Mix in 1963, which continues today.
