Happy Homecoming For Wildcats

It was a happy homecoming Friday for the Kenton Wildcats as they defeated Defiance 42-14 in Western Buckeye League play at Robinson Field. With it’s third straight win, Kenton improves to 3-1 overall and sits in a three-way tie for first in the WBL with a 3-0 league mark. Defiance falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the WBL. Hardin Northern Hosts Soils Competition

Words by Brenna Flowers The Hardin Northern FFA Chapter hosted a Soils contest at the Crooks’ Family Farm on September 18th. 16 schools attended the contest including Kenton, Ridgemont, Hardin Northern and USV from Hardin County. There were 127 Urban Soils participants and 183 Rural Soils participants making a total of 311 judgers. Hardin Northern placed 1st among the county schools in both Rural and Urban contests. Hardin County – The Hardin County Carcass Show of Champions was held Wednesday, September 11 at Jenkins Meats in Mt. Victory. The Kenton Wildcats overcame two weather delays and a two-touchdown deficit to defeat Celina 42-14 in Western Buckeye League play Friday at Celina Stadium.
