Cridersville, OH – The Area Agency on Aging 3 is hosting a Drug Take Back Day, Friday, September 27th from 1-3 p.m. at the Ohio Valley Car Way in Cridersville. Words by by Mark Badertscher, OSU Extension Educator. Hardin County - During the month of August, Extension volunteer rainfall reporters received an average of 2.63 inches of rain. The most rain for this month, 4.54 inches, fell in Marion Township as measured by Mark Lowery. The least rain reported during the month, 1.20 inches was reported in Jackson Township by Rick Weber. Generosity Feeds

WKTN has teamed up with The Belle Center United Presbyterian Church to help support Generosity Feeds to package 10,000 meals to help feed the hungry children and adults in our communities.  These meals will go to many local schools for their backpack program that gives children food to take home for the weekends.  They will also go to other programs in our area. Judy A. Lawrence, age 73, died on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 8:31 PM at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born on July 18, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the late Francis and Doris (Baughman) Edens. In November 1970 Judy married Thomas A. Lawrence who survives in Huntsville. Judy retired from the Upper Scioto Valley School Systems, where she drove bus for over twenty years.
