The Lady Wildcats had multiple points served by Bryee Bostelman, Lyla Gammon, Kaylee Barlow, and Lindsey Winings in set 1 to beat Elida 25-15.   Set 2 was much closer until Kenton scored the last 2 points to close out the set 25-23 Lyla Gammon served 8 points with 3 aces.  She also had 3 kills. Kenton had a clean sweep against Lima Senior, all  Freshman, JV and Varsity squads.  Freshman won in 2 sets, 25-17, 25-10 JV won won in 2 sets, 25-22, 25-21. Varsity won in straight 3 sets, 25-18, 25-11, 25-16. Leading scoring was Chloe Pleasant with 15 points/2 aces. Bellefontaine Athletes Set School Records

Two Bellefontaine seniors have set school records in their respective sports. After shooting a 38 in boys golf at London Monday night Austin Hammond finished the regular season with a 9-hole average of 38.27. The previous record of 38.3 was set in 2021 by Liam Harris. Lexi Robinson broke the career saves record in girls soccer Monday evening. Robinson now sits at 477 saves, the previous record was 473 set by Jessica Smith in 2010.

Celina defeats Kenton 4-0

#13 state ranked Celina defeated Kenton last night and dropped the Cats to 5-3-2 (2-2 WBL). Celina scored 3 first half goals on the way to a 3-0 halftime lead and scored one late in the 2nd half for a 4-0 victory.  Celina outshot Kenton 12-5 in the Contest and Coulson and Scott recorded 7 saves in the contest.   The Jv cats are back in action at 5:30 tonight with Arcadia. Kenton Girls Tennis falls to Bath 1-4

Lilly Carmean was the loan winner on the day blanking her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Sara Horner won her first set 6-4. She tried to mount a comeback in the second starting down 1-4, but lost the tiebreaker 5-7. She played a super tiebreaker for the third set, but dropped that 5-10 after a hard fought match.
